Weekend Getaway to Amritsar

This post is all about our two day trip to Amritsar from Delhi. Me and my husband went on this trip in Nov’17. Cost of Trip Train: 2600Rs (Round Trip For 2 pax from Delhi to Amritsar) Hotel: 700Rs (Booked on MMT) Food & Sight-seeing : 2000Rs Total: 5,500Rs Trip in Detail: We took the Delhi Pathankot express to Amritsar at around 8.30am on a Saturday Morning. We reached Amritsar at 3.30pm. From the station we took an auto-rickshaw to the Wagah border. (There are shared cabs/autos available from the railway station, but due to paucity of time, we reserved one. Shared autos charge 100 per person for two way. Reserved auto charges 500 for two way) Wagah Border is famous for the Change of Guards Ceremony starting from 4pm in the Winters and 4.30pm in Summers. Made great memories, enjoyed scenic views and met people of a different culture!  I'm sharing a suggested itinerary for people who are planning a trip to Bhutan. 4 Day Trip to Goa

Hello Folks! This post is dedicated to our Goa trip from Sept 2 nd  to Sept 6 th , 2016. There was a lot of itinerary search that I did prior to this trip and I thought probably what one needs for a Goa trip is a crisp itinerary. After having gone through many articles, I was very confused. Below is a suggested itinerary, where I tried to maximize the number of places one can visit in 3 days (It is not the one we followed, but probably the most logical one, keeping distances in mind). Three day itinerary for Goa trip: Goa is split into 3 parts – North Goa, Central/Old Goa/Panjim and South Goa. North Goa is the happening place with a very hippy crowd and lined up with beaches and forts. Central/Old Goa is rich in heritage and is famous for beautiful churches.
