A Weekend Trip to Kausani, Uttarakhand in $75!
Hi Folks, In this post, I will talk about my 2 day trip to Kausani, a small hamlet-hill-station in the Garhwali range of Uttarakhand. Kausani is around 420 kms away from Delhi. It is also called the Switzerland of India. We followed the Itinerary below: Fri: Start from Delhi by Road. Buses start from Anand Vihar ISBT. One can take this trip on Car as well (Roads are good for a long drive!) Sat: Reach Kausani, and early check-in into hotel. Explore Anasakti Ashram, Sumitranandan Gallery, Kausani Tea Estate, Baijnath Temple, and have bonfire night. Sun: Checkout from Hotel and trek to Rudradhari Waterfalls. Wrap up by afternoon and start for Delhi. Places to Visit in and around Kausani: 1. Anasakti Ashram: This is a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
